Yup. The wonders of modern technology only takes you so far. As does “the Cloud”. When you essentially rent all your bandwidth, hosting and database from third-parties, you’re at the mercy of others. In this case the database we use was off line for some unknown reason. But we’re back. There has been a lot of words in the press lately around cord cutters. People no longer willing to pay for channels they never or infrequently watch. Such as ESPN which costs the average cable user $6. That’s a lot for something you may only watch once in a while. I did a quick estimate and I would save over $25 a month on my cable bill if I could only subscribe to the channels I wanted. Anyway, I will be writing more on this within a few days.
